State Representative Carolyn Hugley from Columbus was chosen as the House Minority Leader. Sam Park, representing Lawrenceville, was elected as the House Minority Whip. Tanya F. Miller from Atlanta will serve as the House Minority Caucus Chair.

Other elected officials include Spencer Frye from Athens, who will take on the role of House Minority Caucus Vice-Chairman, and Park Cannon from Atlanta, who will serve as Secretary. Solomon Adesanya of Marietta has been appointed as Treasurer, while Saira Draper from Atlanta will fulfill the duties of Chief Deputy Whip.

These elections set the stage for how the Democratic Caucus plans to navigate and influence legislative activities over the next two years.
