The Georgia House Democratic Caucus has confirmed Sam Park as the House Minority Whip for another term. Representing Lawrenceville, Park will continue in this role for the 2025-2026 legislative period.
Expressing gratitude for his re-election, Park stated, “I’m thankful for the trust and support of my colleagues, and I look forward to serving a second term as the Minority Whip.” He emphasized their past efforts to safeguard freedoms and expressed commitment to further protecting rights and livelihoods. "We have an opportunity to turn the page for Georgia and continue the hard work of building a better Georgia that expands access to good jobs, quality healthcare, affordable housing and a world class education," he added.
As Minority Whip, Park's duties include overseeing legislation progress within both chambers of the General Assembly. He also aids Minority Caucus members in comprehending bill details.
This marks Park’s fifth term in the Georgia House of Representatives and his second consecutive term as Minority Whip.
