Georgia farmland preservation committee to hold final meeting

The Senate Study Committee on the Preservation of Georgia’s Farmlands is set to hold its final meeting on Monday, November 25, at 10:00 a.m. The meeting will take place at 450 State Capitol, located at 206 Washington St SW, Atlanta, GA. Chaired by Sen. Billy Hickman (R–Statesboro), the committee aims to propose and adopt its final report during this session.

The public is invited to attend the event, which will also be live-streamed on the Georgia General Assembly website. The committee has been focused on studying various aspects related to the preservation of Georgia's farmlands and considering potential actions or legislation.
