Senator Greg Dolezal has been reappointed as Chief Deputy Whip for the 2025-2026 Biennium by Majority Whip Senator Randy Robertson. Dolezal, a Republican from Cumming, expressed his gratitude for the trust placed in him by his colleagues and emphasized his commitment to upholding conservative principles.
"I am honored to have been renamed Chief Deputy Whip for the 2025-2026 Biennium," said Sen. Dolezal. "I thank Majority Whip Robertson and my colleagues for their trust as we continue to uphold the conservative principles that define our great state. I am committed to ensuring that our caucus remains unified and effective as we advance the values our constituents elected us to defend."
Senator Robertson praised Dolezal's leadership and dedication, stating, "Sen. Dolezal has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership, fierce dedication and strong commitment to our party’s values. His unwavering work ethic makes him the ideal choice to serve as Chief Deputy Whip. I am confident that his dedication to the Georgia Senate and its Republican values will continue to serve our caucus and the people of Georgia well."
Dolezal has been serving in the Georgia Senate since 2018. In addition to his role as Chief Deputy Whip, he will chair the Senate Committee on Transportation and act as Vice Chairman of Appropriations. He is also a member of several other committees including Regulated Industries and Utilities, Rules, Assignments, Education and Youth, Finance, Judiciary, Reapportionment and Redistricting.
