State Senator Blake Tillery and State Representative Matt Hatchett have issued a joint statement regarding the Appropriations hearings initially scheduled for Thursday, January 23.
Senator Tillery, who chairs the Senate Committee on Appropriations, and Representative Hatchett, chairman of the House Committee on Appropriations, announced that "Tomorrow’s Joint Appropriations hearings scheduled before 11:30 a.m. are cancelled."
However, they confirmed that the Community Development Block Grant hearing will proceed as planned at 11:30 a.m. The hearing will be available via live stream on the General Assembly's website at https://tinyurl.com/ytfxc4k2.
The statement also advised to "Stay tuned for additional information concerning afternoon House subcommittee meetings."
