State Representative Angela Moore (D-Stonecrest) will officiate Valentine’s Day weddings today, February 14, 2025, from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Municipal Court Annex in Stonecrest.
“It’s like Christmas but with love for adults, and I am excited to take part in one of their happiest days of their lives for free,” said Rep. Moore.
Rep. Moore has been a licensed professional wedding officiant since 2020. She will be present at the complimentary weddings or vow renewals alongside Chief Judge Miller to officiate these ceremonies. State resolution documents will be delivered by her to commemorate the weddings.
The event will feature free live music, photo opportunities, and food. Those interested are asked by Rep. Moore to book in advance by calling the courthouse and bring a Georgia marriage license. The municipal court can be contacted at 770-224-0200.
