Beginning February 27, a project to replace the Satilla River Bridge on US 84 at the Ware/Pierce County line will require overnight single lane closures. These closures are necessary for concrete pouring activities that encroach upon a travel lane. The process will include flagging operations to manage traffic flow.

The initial closure is scheduled from Thursday, February 27, at approximately 11 p.m., until Friday, February 28, at 6 a.m. To minimize disruption during peak traffic times, these lane closures will occur overnight. Additional intermittent closures may be implemented in the coming weeks to maintain the project's timeline.

During the closure periods, a pilot car will guide vehicles through the work zone. Motorists are advised to maintain adequate distance from other vehicles to ensure safety while navigating this area.
