State Representative Eric Bell of Jonesboro will host a Sine Die block party event this Friday, April 4, 2025, from 1 to 6 p.m. at Liberty Plaza in Atlanta. The event is set to feature live music, food trucks, interactive booths, and family-friendly games, along with opportunities for attendees to meet state representatives.
Sponsors of the event include Dona Mathews and Nicole Bradford of Strategix, Chris Bruce from ACLU Georgia, Councilman Alfred Dixon, State Representatives Inga Willis and Bryce Berry of Atlanta, as well as the founders of 404 Day.
“Hosting this block party is not just about celebrating the end of the legislative session; it’s about coming together as a community to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of those who impact our lives,” stated Councilman Alfred Dixon.
The event will also see recognition given by Rep. Bell to individuals such as Yung Joc, Nina Packer, AJ Calloway, Gerald Griggs, Michelle Taylor Willis, Charles Black, Kilo Ali, and Pastor Troy, with a posthumous honor for Rev. Clarice Church.
Rep. Park Cannon, Fulton County Delegation Chair, highlighted the significance of the event, saying, “I invite everyone to join us at Atlanta’s Liberty Plaza on 404 Day for this historic event. It’s a fantastic opportunity to celebrate our community, connect with constituents and highlight the progress we’ve made during this legislative session.”
DJs performing at the event will include DJ Exeqtive, Queen of Spades, DJ Knotts, DJ Kinesse, and Ill Wink, with filmmaker Sebastiana Laremont documenting the occasion.
