Gov. Brian Kemp is unconcerned with threats of a primary challenge.

In an appearance on Fox & Friends, Kemp said he is focused on campaigning for the state’s Republican senators in the upcoming primary.

“As far as me getting primaried, I could care less about that right now,” Kemp said. “The biggest thing we all need to do, regardless of what you think about what’s going on in Georgia, we’ve got to support David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler.”

Perdue and Loeffler are running against Democrats Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock. The outcome of the race will determine control of the U.S. Senate.

Kemp has come in the crosshairs of Donald Trump several times since the Nov. 3 election.

Trump has loudly decried what he perceives as mistreatment from who he calls "the 'Republican' governor and 'Republican' secretary of state."
