Clemson transfer Teodor Giusca is set to transfer to the University of Georgia men’s tennis program, according to a recent announcement from Head Coach Manuel Diaz.

Diaz highlighted the team’s newest addition in a recent release stating Giusca will play a vital role on the Bulldog’s next year and emphasizing his excitement to get to work with him.

"We are very excited about the addition of Teodor," Diaz said in the release. "Not only (is he) an outstanding player but also a great student and a great leader with his current team."

Giusca will join the Bulldogs as a graduate transfer for the 2022-23 campaign.

According to the release, Giusca was Clemson's No. 1 singles and doubles player and is currently ranked No. 56 in doubles in the country. He is also a two-time ITA Scholar-Athlete and has been named to Clemson's Dean's List three times.

So far this season, the senior boasts the best overall and dual record for Clemson’s men’s tennis program, the release states, going 22-4 overall and 9-3 in dual competition. Giusca and doubles partner Azuma currently hold the Tiger’s best record at 7-3 in the dual season and were named ACC Doubles Team of the Week earlier this year.
