FOIA Request to Twiggs County Election Department Regarding Upcoming Election Candidates on February 5, 2025.
On February 5, we at Peach Tree Times sent a request under the Georgia Open Records Act § 50.18.70 et seq., to the Twiggs County Election Department. The request was for a comprehensive list of all candidates running in the upcoming election.
The requested information included details such as the candidates' first, middle and last names, the office they are running for, and their party affiliation. We also asked for contact information of each candidate, including their address, phone number, and email address.
