State Representative Carl Gilliard from Savannah and State Senator Donzella James from Atlanta are set to host a press conference and luncheon at the Georgia State Capitol in observance of Autism Alert Day. The event aims to raise awareness and advocate for protective measures for individuals with autism, especially in cases where they go missing.

The press conference is scheduled for Thursday, February 27, 2025, at 11:30 a.m. on the first floor of the North Wing Steps at the Georgia State Capitol. It will be followed by a luncheon at noon in Room 123 of the Capitol.
