Georgia House approves bills on sports fairness and IVF rights

Speaker Jon Burns and members of the House Majority Caucus are set to address the media following the Georgia House's approval of two significant pieces of legislation. The media availability will occur today, Thursday, February 27, 2025, immediately after adjournment in the South Ante Room of the House Chamber.

The legislative measures under discussion include House Bill 267, known as the Riley Gaines Act, and House Bill 428. The latter aims to establish a legal right to in vitro fertilization for individuals residing in Georgia.
